About the event
They come, they go. There have been more Rises and Falls than we imagine. It’s quite remarkable to even briefly survey the ones in the historical record, let alone conjure the newly discovered cities of Africa and the Amazon. But what’s most remarkable is to hold the artifacts from the everyday life of civilizations long gone. The Tel Brak artifacts pictured above are said to be from 3300 BCE, but the city was inhabited for the next 1300 years. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
