Shana Smith's "Florida Wild Woman" Concert

Shana Smith is an author, a teacher and a singer/songwriter, but more importantly, a seeker. I’ve known her for years and loved her positive energy ever since we worked together in the children’s Super Saturday Series presented by Gainesville’s Department of Cultural Affairs. And though I am still allowed to, I’ve practically stopped calling her Shana Banana. I am thrilled that she will be bringing her “Wild Florida Woman” concert to the Theatre of Memory on August 1^st  at 7:30. What’s more, she’ll be playing with Raihan Alam, a world music percussionist and didgeridoo player. Tickets are available at theatreofmemory.org   under EVENTS and seating is limited.
